Who Can Join the Senior Abacus Programme?
For older beginners and children approaching the upper age guide, read about programme age limits and placement before choosing a starting pathway.
Older beginners
First-time learners start with correct bead movement and hand use. Our parent guide lists ten checks to make before you choose any abacus class.
Continuing learners
Children moving from a Junior pathway can continue after the required foundations are stable.
Transfer learners
Children coming from another provider are matched to our stages after a short placement check. Contact us with your child’s previous level to ask which stage may suit.
School class does not automatically decide the abacus level
